General Conditions
ICC adheres to a strictly professional protocol when cleaning any building and we pay particular attention to details. The following rules and regulations are our standard business practices.

PRIMARY SECURITY

  1. Security of the keys to your building is provided in the following manner: When not in use, customer keys are kept in a locked safe in the ICC office. Customer keys are not identified by either customer name or address. All such keys are tagged with a numerical code known only to the janitorial operations management staff.
  2. ICC employees are instructed to check doors and windows for security. If the building has a security alarm system, they are to ascertain that the system is armed.
  3. ICC employees are instructed to report - either by written notation or telephone - any building equipment malfunction such as air conditioning, heating, locks, wall outlets, alarm problems, water leaks, occurrences of an unusual nature.
  4. ICC employees are instructed to not open desks, file cabinets or any other storage areas which are normally closed and/or locked.
CUSTOMER PROPERTIES:
  1. Customer telephones are to be used by ICC employees for business purposes only (i.e.: notification to office of presence of employee on work site, supply requests, supervisor's instructions or emergency). Personal calls are not permitted unless an emergency exists.
  2. ICC employees are not to use customer equipment such as coffee urns, typewriters, adding machines, radios, telephones, etc.
  3. ICC employees are instructed to bypass desks, tables and counters with excessive, scattered papers, files or other types of work-in-progress materials.
ENERGY CONSERVATION:
  1. For emergency conservation purposes, ICC employees are instructed as follows:
  2. Leave only designated night lights burning upon departure from the customer's building.
  3. Use only sufficient lighting to accomplish cleaning duties.
SCHEDULING OF SERVICES:
  1. Window cleaning and janitorial services will be provided during mutually-agreed upon hours.
  2. Project services, such as floor waxing, light fixture cleaning, carpet shampooing, etc. May require ICC to extend hours beyond normal working hours; however this will occur infrequently. The customer or customers' designate will be contacted prior to the initiation of these services, so that our plans will not conflict with any activity you may have previously scheduled for your facility.
SUPERVISION OF SERVICES:
  1. Area janitorial supervisors will make regular, unscheduled inspections of each customer's building, to assure that the level of quality remains high.
  2. When either window cleaning or project services are in progress, unscheduled visits also will be made on the production personnel.
  3. Follow-up inspections by ICC Headquarters every four weeks
